Switching - Terms and Conditions

1. The unit holder(s) and the unit trust adviser of the "switched from" and "switched to" account must be the same.

2. The Manager will not charge a switching fee if you switch your investment up to 6 transactions per calendar year. Any additional switching between funds will be charged a switching fee of RM25 per transaction (RM15 for Online Switching) except for switching at selling price from bond/money market funds (low-load units) to equity/ balanced funds.

Notes:
*    Loaded units are units that have incurred a sales charge of 5.00% or more at the point of purchase and a sales charge of 3.00% for investment through EPF.

**  Low-load units are units that have incurred a sales charge of 0.25% or less at the point of purchase.

*** No-load units are units that have not incurred any sales charge at the point of purchase.

^   No charge for the first six switches per calendar year for each Unit Holder's account. The same applies to online switching but the amount is reduced to RM15.

Switching from Shariah-compliant fund to a conventional fund is discouraged especially for Muslim Unit Holders.

3. If the switching request is made to an initial (new) investment, the net amount switched must meet the minimum requirement of the fund's initial investment amount.

4. The minimum number of units for switching is 1,000 and subject to the minimum balance, terms and conditions of the respective funds.

5. For full switching, you are required to fill up the Regular Investment Amendment (RIA) Form if you wish to switch your monthly deduction to the new fund.

6. Cancellation of request for switching is not allowed.

7. Request for switching is not applicable for EPF float units.

8. For partial switching, please leave the minimum balance of units required to maintain your MIMMB unit trust account.

9. MIMMB reserves the rights to deduct any amount that may be owed by the unit holder (s) to MIMMB from the switching amount.

10. For more information on switching, please refer to the relevant Prospectus.

11. This transaction might be processed on the next day. Transactions received by Manulife IM(Malaysia) on or before the cut-off time of 4:00PM shall be considered as transaction for the day. However, transactions received after the cut-off time shall be considered as transaction for the next applicable business day.
